Dr. Warmington graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2012 after completing her Honours in Animal Biology and minor in Pet Nutrition at the University of Guelph in 2008. She works as an associate veterinarian at a general-practice veterinary hospital as well as two emergency 24/7 veterinary hospitals. Dr. Warmington is also one of the veterinarians that provides care to our animals.
She is passionate about the well-being and health of all animals and wanted to help develop an organization that focused not only on the physical health, but also the mental and emotional health of animals. She works closely with our trainer and equine-bowen/canine-bowen therapist to develop nutritional, behavioural and medical plans so our animals have whatever they need to succeed in finding their new homes!
Dr. Warmington shares her spare time with her senior off-the-track Thoroughbred, Mrs. B, two dogs: Foster, a German Shepherd, and Mitch, a mix-breed, both of which have been adopted through shelter-programs; and two cats: Pete and Herman, also both adopted from rescue organizations. They certainly keep her busy! She enjoys reading, cooking, wine-tasting, home DIY projects and spending time with family and friends.
